If you want to read more about what happened at my church this weekend, you can read the weekly message as Pastorman presented it at this link:
http://www.northheartland.org/siteresources/apps/sermon/sermonlist.asp
Click on the first one titled, “Dream” and you can read the text or you’ll see a place on the left where you can listen to or watch the video.
In the meantime, I’ve spent all weekend thinking about this premise of becoming more generous and living within the biblical principal of money instead of the hyper-consumerism that the world forces on us and I have to say one thing…
If just thinking about being out of debt and of being ultra-generous towards God’s people makes me giddy, how am I going to feel when I actually start to live it?
I think…it will feel like heaven.

“…instead of the hyper-consumerism that the world forces on us and I have to say one thing…”
Yep, been there too. The book of Ecclesiastes hit me like a ton o’ bricks a couple of years ago. The lessons remain with me today. (Not that I *never* buy anything, but I look at my consuming habits with a critical eye now.)
